What is the Charity Art Auction?
The idea is to create an art night hosted at Tora Sumi by the in-house artists, raising money and supporting a cause.
This year the artist have chosen to help a small charity that helps women and their families to get back on their feet after an infant loss.
Have the Tora Sumi's artists create artwork to be auctioned and give 100% of the profits to iSail.

Who is the organisation?
The iSAIL clinic provides personalised, coordinated care to women and their families following the death of their baby, occuring either during the later half of pregnancy or shortly after birth. The iSAIL clinic model has been created as a result of research data received when interviewing women following baby loss in these circumstances. Delivery and interpretation of results, discussed in a sensitive manner, and in a private environment away from the women & babies department is the cornerstone work of the clinic. Additionally, creation of a bereaved parent community and community involvement within the clinic is of significantimportance to our work.
The clinic is funded by Sydney Local Health district, to service our community, however additional funds raised significantly improves the services we are able to provide. A recent donation enabled us to upgrade an important component of our memory making package. Previously, photos of babies were uploaded onto a disc and provided to families. Now with the additional funds we were able to provide beautifully designed bamboo USB sticks (imprinted with the iSAIL butterfly) to each family who have suffered a loss, thus allowing them to add their own photos and other digital momentos of their baby for safekeeping. Past donations have enabled us to hold a discounted iSAIL community lunch, create an iSAIL babies photo book and facilitate bereavement groups.
